This an initiative developed by the MIE’s Centre for Open and Distance Learning, supported financially by the Rotary Club of Port Louis. The aim of the competition is to develop computational thinking in secondary schools and is targeted at students in grade 9.
The coding competition is scheduled over two phases. The first phase is a preliminary round where teams from colleges around the island are invited to demonstrate their coding skills through the completion of various tasks. The 30 best teams then proceed to the finals.
