BREAKFAST FOR PRIMARY SCHOOL CHILDREN

Collaboration between the Club, sponsors, parents and school staff has been instrumental in the success of this project (developed and led by two Club members’ spouses)

Lycee Polytechnique St Gabriel

This project led by the Catholic Diocese of Port Louis (Mauritius) has started in 2021. The Rotary Club of Port Louis is one of the sponsors.

ATELIER MO’ZAR / ESPACE ARTISTIQUE MO’ZAR

The Espace Artistique Mo’zar project was launched in the presence of Club members, the Lord Mayor and the founder of Atelier Mo’zar, the late José Thérèse.

OUTING FOR THE DISABLED

The annual cost of the project is about Rs500,000 and, although some support has already been volunteered, more funds would ensure a particularly effective project can continue…

CRAFT CLASSES (CLASSES DES MÉTIERS)

In 2010, we fitted out a workshop at a ZEP school in Port Louis so that Craft works and Creativity classes could be run after normal classes finished.

Most of the presents and food are provided by Rotarian families, although additional support, particularly in kind, is invaluable.

BETTER HOUSE – BETTER LIFE

This has been a very expensive project, only
made possible by the support of sponsors and the NEF. About Rs150,000 is still needed to complete the project.

The competition is first of all an opportunity for young IT students to showcase their knowhow, with support from the Club and the MIE
